SABOTEO shows your viewers’ names on screen. If you have a privacy policy – for example linked from your profile – you can add this section to it.

In my TikTok livestreams I use the software SABOTEO. It shows on screen who has just sent a gift, given a like or typed a chat command – for example as a name on an object in the game, in a leaderboard or in an alert.
Only the public TikTok username or display name is processed, together with the action (e.g. which gift). The processing takes place on my own computer; the data is not sent to the maker of SABOTEO. Profile pictures are not stored. [Some on-screen elements also show the public profile picture during the livestream.]

The legal basis is my legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: anyone who takes part in my livestream publicly gets a visible reaction. An automatic word filter replaces inappropriate names.
The on-screen elements are visible to everyone watching the livestream. If I record a livestream or publish clips, they are part of the video.
Anyone who doesn’t want their name shown on screen can write to me at any time at [email address or other contact]. I will then hide the names and delete the entry from the leaderboard. You also have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
In the game menu, switch off “names of the gifters in the game” under the display options. Top gifters, crown and event list can be switched off there too.
In the launcher under “Stream tools”, delete single entries or the whole hall of fame.
Top gifters and the action feed are overlays – if you don’t add them, no names appear there.
SABOTEO doesn’t store profile pictures. Everything runs on your PC and is not sent to us.
